General Motors still plans to close the Lordstown plant after CEO Mary Barra met with Governor Mike DeWine and other state and local officials this week in Detroit.

DeWine says Barra was noncommittal about bringing a new vehicle line to the factory.  But he says another firm could wind up using the facility.

GM late last year announced plans to end production of the Chevy Cruise at Lordstown by March.
