The FBI says former Allen County Sheriff Sam Crish has been indicted on charges of accepting nearly 100 thousand dollars in bribes from drug dealers and others while in office.
Agents say Crish extorted the money from five people between 2012 and 2016, and provided special treatment in return. Crish resigned last year following an FBI raid on his Lima office the previous year.
