The state's high school athletes are allowed to return to in-person training beginning today. The Ohio High School Athletic Association says skills training and conditioning for all sports, including contact sports, may resume under proper COVID-19 safety restrictions.
This includes weight training, agility training, running, batting cages, and other types of cross-fit conditioning drills. Six-feet social distance measures are required, and individuals must use their own equipment. The sharing of water from the same coolers or drinking stations is prohibited. Officials also recommend the wearing of masks when not engaged in strenuous activity.
